We have been making memorials for over one hundred years. We know that Bart Endean established the company in the 1890’s and passed the business on to his children. As time went on it was taken over by an apprentice to the Endeans. Nowadays the business is run by his son and grandson.
We have been based on the Whitehouse Farm Centre for 20 years, having previously worked out of our yard in Blyth. Our years of experience make us passionate about using traditional techniques and materials to make unique memorials. Our preference is to use slates and sandstones sourced from our connections all over the country. This way we can be confident that the materials have been quarried sustainably and carefully. When using imported materials we make sure to use suppliers with a reputation for well cared for workers.
